Statement of Faith

1. The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7-9)

3. Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:9-10)

4. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins on the cross, and rose again. All who believe in Him will receive everlasting life. (Mathew 1:21, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 3:16)

5. Believers are called to live holy lives and share the Gospel with others. (1 Peter 3:15, 1 Peter 1:16)

6. We believe God has appointed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

7. The baptism of the Holy Ghost, the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 1:5,1:8, 2:4)

8. The gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, water baptism, repentance, and deliverance. (Acts 1:5, Mark 16:17-18, Mathew 4:17, 3:11, 28:19, Galatians 5:22-24, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, Isaiah 61:1)

9. The second coming of Jesus Christ, the catching away of the saints, and God’s creation of a new heaven and earth. (Revelation 22:12-14, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 21:1-5)
